Todo comenzó gracias a los programas de cocina de Jamie Oliver que vi por primera vez hace unos meses. Estoy aprendiendo a cocinar con algunas especias y a cultivarlas en casa. Lo primero que compré fue tomillo y menta. Luego llegaron el perejil y la albahaca...

Thanks to Jamie Oliver (TV show that I watched for the first time just a few months ago) I am learning to cook with some spices and to grow them at home. The first thing I bought was thyme and mint. Then the parsley and basil.

Tenía muchas ganas de arreglar desde hace tiempo las plantas de la terraza ya que poco a poco se fueron acumulando las macetas.
I really wanted to do was organize the terrace and the plants!

Nos hemos comprado una maceta de madera más grande para plantar varias allí, en lugar de tener un montón de macetitas por todos lados. Y así es como quedó:

We bought a larger wood pot to plant some of them, instead of having a lot of small pots everywhere. And this is how it looks now:
 

Ahora también tengo tomates ecológicos, orégano y cilantro. ¡El pequeño huerto en casa! Recuerdo cuando era niña y mi abuela tenía un terreno en el que cultivaba sus verduras, incluso un pequeño gallinero, pero fue el programa Jamie el que me hizo el clic y despertó mi curiosidad de nuevo.

Now we also have organic tomatoes, oregano and coriander. The small vegetable garden at home! I remember when I was a child and my grandmother cultivated their own vegetables, she also had a chicken coop, but Jamie´s program made ​​me click and waked up my curiosity again.
